Alex O’Loughlin Wednesday Wall Of FanArt

It’s that time again…Whimsical Wednesday FanArt where the creators show you Alex in a different light. This week is no different as they have taken on the challenge once again. Although Alex as himself makes an appearance,  Steve is the primary focus again. Let’s see what has been added to the gallery this week.

First we start with Monika who grabbed one of Steve’s many gun shot pics and phased the background out, exemplifying the Focus which the piece is actually called. The background symbolizes the residual of any gun battle and because of it’s hazy feel, it even allows the viewer to “focus” in even more on the main attraction.

Next from Sonja, Alex is having a ball. (just kidding). However, as you can see she took one of everyone’s favorite pics and provided a faded blended background centering in on the forefront of it, which is Alex in the ball. Alex even uses this pic she adapted here on his Facebook page so he must like it too. Wonder what he would think of her twist.

Moving onward, we have one from Gaby, who once again provided us a more thought provoking piece. It is thought provoking in many ways and you can make of it what you want. One way would be that his younger self is leaning on the wiser version of himself even though both seem to be in serious thought. His older self could be reflecting out on his younger times of when his body was still whole and healthy. Whichever way you look at it, it is obvious there is a lot of Alex in a pensive trance.

Next from Silvia, we pulled one from the gallery as she has some other projects she has been working on lately. Lucky for us she has provided us a lot of older stuff that is in the gallery and is still very relevant. We picked this one for the week because the show will be exploring when it all started this Friday, back to what Steve and Danny mean to one another and the impact on each other’s lives at the time. This is the Commander right back to the pilot episode so many years ago. Many things have changed since then, but one thing that hasn’t is Steve sure still looks good in uniform.  The background on this piece is clearly patriotic which also is who Steve is through and through.

One of our admins was busy creating this week, too and this one is all about Steve’s angst over the years. He has gained a lot since he formed his team including Ohana, bromance, new relationships, etc… but one thing that has also been at the forefront is pain. This piece takes a look at some of that. The title says it all…Nobody Said it Would Be Easy…and  that it hasn’t.

That is all for now with another week down. Unfortunately Bryna was not able to make it this week so hopefully she will be back next week. We will be putting all the pieces from all the fanart days in our art gallery over the hiatus, as one of our side projects we have planned. If you want anything you see before that, we will be happy to send it to you. Hit us up via email or on one of our social media outlets.
