Alex O’Loughlin Whimsical Christmas FanArt

To get everyone in the Christmas spirit, we thought maybe some Alex fanart was called for. Since we have not done a fanart post in awhile, this was the perfect time to chime in with one. All of the collaborators came back for this special post and for that we thank them. There are a lot of fun pieces below for you to enjoy, so unwrap your gift and scroll on down.

Most of the artists were feeling generous and provided us two pieces to wish everyone a Merry Christmas with and one of those people was Monika, so lets start with her.  First, how could anyone resist Alex under the mistle toe? Throw in that tux and it is unlikely he would be alone at the party for long.

In her second one she used a more formal setting of a photoshoot taken back in 2010. She added some festive ornaments around it and along with the Hawaiian message of Christmas cheer, rounded it all out.

Moving on, Sonja decided to go with the lighter version of Christmas with Alex in a Santa hat with the first one being more serious and the second a whole lot of fun. In the first she took a popular promo photo over the last week from episode 8.11 and brightened it up some.  Adding some snowflake decor and symbolizing the Star of Bethlehem in the upper right corner, she exemplified the peace of the holiday quite well.

The second piece brings out the goofier side of Alex. Not much needs to be said about that as you can just look at it and want to join in on all the fun!

Next we  have a couple from Gaby. She also provided one that was more formal and another that was more fun. The first one is a really nice one of Alex of late set by the festive Christmas tree. The flicker of the tree light illuminates Alex nicely.

Her second is Alex on the beach. It seems as if he has taken the time to write out Merry Christmas in the sand to the fans and must have dropped his hat when he was bent over doing that.

Bryna is back with a movie poster and who doesn’t think of  Die Hard when you think of Christmas movies?  This 1988 classic was set on Christmas Eve and that is about the long and short of the Christmas side. John McClane, played by Bruce Willis, had to save hostages, including his wife from a organized crime invasion.

Bryna replaced Bruce with Alex here, which is realistic as we have all seen how Steve will go ballistic when someone he loves is in danger, and no doubt that was the plot of this movie. Christmas has always been a good time for the box office and if Bryna’s version was released today, it would no doubt be a sell-out as all Alex fans would rush the theaters. Here is the original for those that like to to do the comparison.

We also chimed in with our own version of Santa. Who needs the hat or red suit as this guy can bring us our gifts anytime. We also think the bear has the right idea when it comes to it’s sight of vision. 🙂

And in our second one, he is lighting up Christmas night but has to wear shades because of the sparkly glare.

We took from the gallery for Silvia and jazzed them up a little. Christmas is a time of many parties and so plenty of reason for Alex to dress to all nines.  Both of these use the concept of sparkles with one being a little more colorful Both use the famous GQ photoshoot Bond style.
