Mark your calendars…January 23rd will be a good day.
Early that day you will be able to catch two new movies…
Outlander with Sophia Miles…who played Beth in Moonlight.
Also Underworld 3 which does not have any of the Moonlight actors but it is a vampire movie…a prequel to Underworld 1 and 2…which rocked.
The trailers for both movies look insanely good.
And that evening don’t miss the premiere of Moonlight on the Sci-Fi channel. Enjoy!
No where even near Tucson, AZ, either…
Well, I am pissed off that it is not in Ohio. I had planned to see Outlander and I can’t. That sucks!
I did see Underworld and I watched Moonlight on Sci-Fi though.
PatSchau re your comments of January 18, 2009 in relation to NCIS I beg to differ with your comment about it being mothballed – this is an excellent show and Mark Harmon is a wonderful actor. There are other actors in Hollywood you know besides Alex. Granted Alex is an excellent actor and I would love to see him in anything anywhere at anytime, but you should not dis other shows just because Alex is not on them. I believe he would be an excellent choice for an NCIS spinoff as the lead actor in the series – at least he will be back on TV and we will not be missing him so much and he will have something to do, rather than waiting for Tassler to deign to give him a show of his own, which doesn’t look like its happening any time soon and it would be wonderful if he can use his own natural Australian accent.
Concerning Sophia Myles’ Outlander. There were never any plans to release it straight to DVD. That was an unfortunate rumour. But The Weinstein Company who is handling the US distribution is short on money for promotion so they have a very well known habit of shelving their genre films, which Outlander is. However, they are contractually obliged for a theatrical release and that’s exactly what’s happening!!!
This Friday, January 23, it is coming out in select theatres, about 80, throughout the US. Word is out that we can look at about 200 screens over the coming weeks. But your help is required! Go & see the movie! Tell your friends who live near the theatres to go & see it! This will help get a wider release of that film. I’ve seen it on the big screen and I can tell you that’s how the movie’s supposed to be seen!

Yes, I, myself, would like reporters to make more contact with Alex and without CBS hovering over him and monitoring his statements, if they do…
As far as Alex doing a spinoff of NCIS, I think the show needs to see mothballs and am tired of CBS birthing similar shows constantly…Does anyone, except the writers of Moonlight, in Hollywood know how to come up with new ideas anymore???
Furthermore, why should any of us accept a spinoff of another show for Alex when he can give better performances in something more innovative and creative? No I am NOT for Alex going into a spinoff of NCIS!!!!! I hope the duration of the year long contract runs out before we see that happen and that NO agent of his accepts a contract for review or wants Alex to sign again with CBS…
I, for one, think Mark Gordon, a Exec Prod, grabs Alex for something he produces but only on ABC, who seems to be a network more interested in giving the public what they want and keep favorite shows on for a good long time…THANK YOU ABC IF YOU ARE READING THIS….
I heard that the Outlander DVD movie with Sophia Myles has been delayed. I am not sure what the new release date is now.
That poem is a vampire masterpiece! I LOVE IT!!
I too am worried about what CBS and Nina T have in mind. Are they actually working on a project for Alex?
I don’t trust NT. I have a bad feeling that she just tells people what they want to hear. I hope I am wrong about her, but I don’t think she cares about anyone or anything but her own interests and ratings.
Now she has brought up the possiblity of Alex doing a NCIS spinoff. That would be great if she follows through with this idea. I don’t think it is a coincidence that she comes up with this a week before the Moonlight reruns begin on Sci-Fi. Do you?
What does Alex want to do?
Please excuse the typos in the post I left above, sorry, just wanted to get it out but am sure you can decipher the words as it is plainly written…
Yes we are definitely in full season vampire love, but now we need to make it known we have not given up on continuing the Vampire Season with a good fight to ressurct moonlight again…Not Moonlight re-runs but a new season to be filmeded…
Nina Tassler is screwing Alex and his agents over with that 1 year HOLDING CONTRACT for there is not a project as promised…but we still can give all Alex fans back the Moonlight in new film… Alex won’t be tied forever to this contract or, for the sake of his gaents, we hope not, if they are worth the money…Tead the thread here entitled Nina Tassler on Alex’s Future and the ensuing comments of which I gave the first opinion which has been my opinion all along since the contract was signed in late July…She is holding Alex away from hi public by this contract…Nina Tassler is actor-fan phobic
There are, on that thread, addresses of whom we can write and it is all explained on that thresd…Yes, DOD BUY THE MOONLIGHT DVD, IMPORTANT TO SHOW OUR LOVE OF SHOW AND NOT JUST LOVE OF THE ACTOR…
AND YES, WATCH THE RE-RUNS ON SCI-FI BUT STILL GET THIS RESURRECTED FIGHT INTO MOTION AGAIN…WE NEED TO BEGIN STRIKING NOW AS THE IRON IN VAMPERISM IS HOT…
We may not get back Jason & Shannyn in ML but our main characters, Sophia/Bet & Alex/ Mick seem to be in limbo at the present…Sophia went back to England though she had a Visa good until July, 2009, that is showing hurt and disappoinment with the Tinsletown promises…
Alex has not been in a movie or TV show since the signing of this glitzy promised contract with CBS for 1 year…He needs to demand Mick to be resurrected and we to help him or get the ball rolling to encourage him in knowing we still love the show and only Alex can play Mick & Sophia play Beth…
So we are in the middle of the 1st month of 209, let not let anymore time pass to aim at resurrecting nre Moonlight episodes!!!!!
BTW, Gothic VAmpire Queen, loved the poetry… I left some of my own on the Nina/ Alex future thread also…
MichaelC2B you said it all. Thank You. signed hopeful
Yes, January is a great month for Moonlight fans. Our preordered DVDs will be shipped from Amazon on 1/20/09 and Sci-Fi begins airing our 16 precious episodes on 1/23/09 – Fridays at 9 pm EST, same time we used to watch it. I have watched my recorded ML so many times I just about know the dialogue by heart, but it is still wonderful to know that ML will have even more new fans through Sci-Fi and the DVDs.
SO – spread the word in any way that you can. People are making banners to display on-line and even in their local stores. With the #s of DVDs sold and the viewer #s on Sci-Fi, you just never know what may happen. Write to Joel Silver and WB and let them know we want more seasons of ML – and write to Sci-Fi, thanking them for the reruns and let THEM know we want more. They have a Moonlight thread for comments and they have opened a Moonlight page. Yes, some say that it is too late for the return of ML at this point, but I don’t believe that it is. Hey, stranger things have happened – like the CANCELLATION of ML…
Alex has signed a new contract with CBS – for one year. I haven’t watched CBS since Sonata aired, but if Alex does actually end up with a new show I will watch for him. I have come to care about Alex O’Loughlin as a person as well as an actor, and his career comes first in my eyes – not to mention the fact that the man can do no wrong on film. I know that he is headed for leading roles in movies here – just look at the quality of his work in Australia – and I can hardly wait to see him accept his first Oscar. We all know that the rest of the cast is outstanding as well, and that they all have brilliant careers to go on with. I do believe though that it is not too late for more Moonlight!
Yeah, Yeah–Alex this and Alex that–OMG…I personally am looking forward to seeing more and more of BETH….and the fangs—lol
I am so EXCITED about ^V^MOONLIGHT ON SCI-FI IN JANUARY (23)((RERUNS))^V^ WOOT WOOT
I say SCI-FI is were we belong for ever & until eternal life lol!!
I have a lot of sister boards on MY board that is called

I just Found a vampire poem
& I decanted it to Alex O’Loughlin (OUR VAMPIRE)
or lol should I say “REAWAKING” lol, just remember Alex
we all love you & we support what you do 😉
Awaking Vampire
The sun sets.
The creatures of the night
coming to play…
to play with humans…
naive humans…
No one knows what will happen.
You don’t know, either.
Although it’s your life
that’s going to end…
tonight.
The darkness is falling.
And you’re still happy.
You still don’t know what will happen.
Still don’t know anything.
Soon you’ll learn…
You’ll learn to love eternal life.
You’ll learn to love the night.
You’ll learn to hate the day.
Same as I did.
And you’ll learn to love me.
And maybe, someday, I´ll tell you…
tell you why you had to die…
tonight.
The moon is rising.
And I found you.
I took all my hate…
and made you one of us…
Now you’re lying on the ground.
The pain is for the moment…
but it’ll let you go.
And only the sadness will stay.
The sadness of having lost your life.
And maybe, one day,
of having lost your love.
But for the now it’s the sadness
of having lost your life…
tonight.
^V^WE ARE THE VAMPIRE SOULIDARITY VampFamily
