After a week off for a special edition of the Rendition story, we are back with our Whimsical Wednesday fanart. Since the creators had some extra time to work, you can expect the art to be really good. It is also all really different this week so there does not seem to be a common theme. Have fun checking it out.
This time we will start with Sonja who has taken Alex and put him in quite an imaginative dream state. The light shines directly from his head bringing the focus on what is happening within. He seems to be in a happy state of mind with all sorts of things swirling around him. It is a form of organized chaos within fantasy land. Very imaginative piece that can be taken so many ways so how do you see it?

Next, there is a new Gladiator in town, according to Gaby. Nice manip that replaces one Aussie with another one. The actual role was done by Russell Crowe but in this version Alex has donned the suit for this epic 2000 historical drama. Who knows, there might be a sequel made some day with Alex instead of Russell. Alex fans will surely enjoy that, but in the meantime, this imaginative one will have to due.

Next form Monika, there is the newer Alex in an older picture concept. The frayed frame creates a nostalgic feel of an actual gallery picture hanging on the wall or sitting on a desk.The contrast of new vs old is also clear and there probably are plenty of fans that would not mind this hanging (or standing) around.

One our admins took the concept of collage and enhanced it into actual fanart. It is many different shots formatted in colorful creative blocks. You can just imagine it like a padded room or creative studio as the surroundings. This falls into the category of conceptual art. From Steve to Alex, and new to old, it is quite diverse.
Next, Bryna is back with a wonderful addition as you can see. This is one movie sequel that bet we all would like to see some day. How many kids do you think Stan and Zoe would have by now? What kind of plot would they come up with? Alex was great as Stan and he enjoyed playing him so maybe they can talk him and JLo into coming back for a sequel. Never say never. In the meantime enjoy this fictional look forward via Bryna.

From Silvia we once again pulled from the gallery, and since today is the first day of Summer, we chose this one to cool you down or heat you up (whichever way you want to look at it). Taken from a couple of Five-0 episodes, Steve is clearly in the mood for some water time. Anyone ready to get in with him ?
