Another week flew by and it is time for the Alex O’Loughlin wrap up again. The activity has picked up a lot so there is some great stuff to include in the review. It really helped having the episode guests this past Friday as they are quite active on social media and provided some good behind the scenes pics prior to the showing. Alex was also seen shooting on location at the airport.
Here’s what we have for you.
Behind the Scenes
It was all behind the scenes stuff this week as there were no new fan photos. With that being said, there was some fun ones.
Starting with two episodes ago, you probably recognize this guy from the chase scene with McGarrett. He was pretty stoked to be able to work with Alex and said on his IG that he was a joy to work with. That seems to be the common theme for anyone that has worked with him no matter what level of actor they are. From the young actor all the way to Carol Burnett and Ed Asner, they have nothing but good things to say. This is no surprise as he is a class act.
This next pic also was taken during episode 7.15 and is thanks to the Check the Gate group. They provided a BTS look of Alex hanging out with the mules used in that episode.. Check the Gate provides animals for film and television in Hawaii and has also provided other helpful animal stars such as the beloved cat, Mr. Pickles from episode 5.17. Alex does seem to have a liking to animals of all types.
Another one from the same episode was provided by Musetta Vander who was the killer in this one. She caught a pic of Alex and Daniel in the jeep that they probably spent hours in the day of shooting the scene. Great expression!
Now on to the last episode, the majority of the pics came from Lili Simmons who plays Melissa formerly known as Amber and Anuhea who is a local Hawaiian musician that serenaded the couples during their romantic dinner on the beach.
This one was obviously from the volleyball scene. Sarah Carter (Lynn) mentioned on twitter that it was not her volleyball skills but Lynn’s 🙂 Based on the rest of the writing around the loss, that is more than believable.
On to upcoming episodes, Alex was shooting at the airport on Thursday. From that came a video from the Makani Helicopters and a sighting of him strutting across the location from an onlooker.
This pic also came from an upcoming episode where the guys will be in a tandem dive for some reason. They were hanging out with the safeish people on set and she got this shot.
Editing Clips
Peter was gracious enough to share some more editing clips and this one is from 7.18 which looks to be another suspenseful one as the boys find the uranium and must attend to it before it attends to them.
And although not a clip, Peter did provide this shot of Steve and Danny tandem diving. All we can say is should be hilarious and stay tuned for the fun.
That is it for this past week and the wrap up. Although we are not sure, they should be wrapping up 7.20 going into the week and possibly starting 7.21 mid to end. If correct, that only leaves 5 more to shoot for season 7. This season has been great so far and no doubt it will continue on that path. Since they take between 7-8 days to shoot each one, that puts the start of hiatus around end of March to beginning of April so they are right on schedule. Hope to get lots of pics before that happens and things get a lot slower.
Have a great week everyone.
Love the way danny and alex work together even when they are relaxing lolx
Agree- Scott and Alex are great friends and it shows on and off the screen.
