I am already a big fan of Criminal Minds so I was watching last night’s episode when this teaser clip aired. I was sooooo excited! I love the way they emphasize that “Alex O’Loughlin Returns to CBS!” You see??? They know they have a potential gold mine on their hands and they want all the extra viewers that Alex will bring to the show. Next week fans!!!! The countdown is on!
Last night there were actually two showings of criminal minds…a rerun at 9:00PM and a new episode at 10:00 PM EST. The viewer numbers for each were 9.8 million and 13.5 million respectively. So Alex fans how many MORE viewers can we wrangle up for next Wednesday’s episode??? Let’s show CBS how much LOVE we have for Alex!
Thanks for the warning that Alex had canceled his trip to England. I am terribly disappointed as is my granddaughter. I no sooner had made hotel reservations when I got a e-mail telling me he had canceled. I could have cried. Fortunately I had not yet made my flight reservations but I do have to call and cancel the hotel. The only money I will probably lose is the registration fee which I have requested back explaining that once Alex canceled there was no reason for me to go there. I have no luck meeting that man, guess I will have to settle watching his movies and Moonlight which I have copies of all. Tomorrow night is Criminal Minds which of course I will tape and watch over and over again. It will be fantastic. He is really starting to climb that ladder to stardom and I KNOW he will win an academy award some year.
I know earlier I had sent an email to Tiffany to have a heads-up on this news but after reading Pat Barone’s post I had to warn her to cancel her plans…
From another Alex site I subscribe to I received an email stating that Alex’s trip to the UK in June has been cancelled because he will be in LA filming the “Back-Up Plan” movie with J-Lo…
I do hope, Pat Barone, that you can cancel and get your money back or have the airlines, at least give you a ‘raincheck” to be used toward a flight to another place of your choice…
Hey, the weather is great in LA during June, a bit warm, but no rain for the most part… Sooo how about making that flight raincheck for a return trip to LA to see if you can catch a glimpse of him filming in LA?
I know I would if I could… Anyone want to come to AZ and petsit my 9 dogs and 3 horses?
I love Alex in whatever part/show/movie he is currently in or will in the future be in. He is a great actor becoming his character which is why he is so believable. He knows what he can play and I am sure looks for that type of role. The good Lord made him gorgeous in looks with that curly hair, beautiful eyes and long eye lashes, a smile that lights up a room, a body that doesn’t quit and more importantly more acting ability in his little finger than anyone else out there. I would watch him read the telephone book if it meant listening to and seeing him. My dearest wish is to just meet him in person. I missed him in Los Angeles (he was in Mexico after cancellation of Moonlight). Then my daughter and I drove about 300 miles to try and catch him in Pittsburgh but that didn’t work out at all as is was raining really hard and no one ventured outside. NOW I am going to London to see him in June. Can’t really afford it but I am going anyways. I will love and support this terrific man until I die. There is only one Alex O’Loughlin. I hope and pray that I will be able to get his autograph on one of the Moonlight scripts that I have and also a picture taken with him.
Oops, ditto here again, like on other thread, about the notify on comments…sorry
Yes, I, too, want to support Alex and do… however I do feel that there will be some chance out there from someone with some brains in the entertainment field that will see the light and bring Moonlight into movie form…As an old timer I have seen resurrection come from ashes, so to speak… And once the image of Moonlight fans being silly cultists, as I thought when I watched a YouTube clip of a certain ML fansite at WB, is dissolved from memory perhaps the finer value of our Moonlight committment will surface…
We all know Nina was wrong, but she, being who she is, will never admit herself as being wrong…
As far as Twilight being a more powerful draw in the movies than a Moonlight movie…definitely wrong… I am an adult, like adult themes to what I watch… Twilight, though great, is definitely for the youth… Oh, since I read every book, I want to see how they dipict scenes, I envisioned, on the big screen… However, if a Moonlight movie came out tomorrow, especially with our familiar stars reprising their TV character roles, how many adults would flock to see it over a Twilight movie? I think a vast many of adults that helped to make up the numbered throngs who went to see the first movie… Now I find Robert Pattinson a very talented young man and in time he will go far, but compared to Alex, Robert is a puppy…Alex, I feel, would draw more to a movie starring him, especially a reprisal of his Mick, than Robert would as Edward… Edward’s love scenes seemed teen awkward, which it was supposed to be, but if given the chance who would we all rather see kissing a feamle, Alex or Robert?
No matter I will not give up my hope and strongly feel that down the future we will be getting news of a Moonlight reprisal in movie form… Just look at how Star Trek cancelled in the 1st season, to make a comeback and survive through decades since the original series…
Now, Tiffany, you made the comment about CBS and BORING shows…agreed, all have outlasted what their life expectancy is worth… But each of these boring shows, in reference to the crime dramas, are far more violent and blood gory than any scene ever televised of Moonlight’s… So saying that is one reason ML was taken off the air, CBS better check its moral values… None of these types of shows featuring autopsies, killings are what I care to watch weekly, I can see this kind of stuff on the nightly news every day…shows like that are what gives youth ideas and causes them to act upon such violent tendenacies not understanding that the consequences are real, not make believe as seen on TV…Persons these teens hurt, get Dead, or Hurt badly, even here in Tucson, the number of teen violence is getting out of hand…I see this as two causes, too much say by the law in how we can discipline our kids and secondly, too many violece on TV; heck, even some of the realoty shows that are competative in nature are actually violent…
I enjoy some fantasy in my TV watching, or a family story like Brother & Sisters, or a romantic comedy, but I find crime dramas nauseating… And CBS leads in the nausea…
i love this promo, its so good, the way Alex acts, he is really scary. CLICK CLICK
Tish, I admit I could be totally wrong about CBS…that is just my opinion of the network. They seem to like BORING shows and rehashing the same old stuff. I have been dissapointed twice now in regards to a monsters/thriller/paramonral show being cancelled by them despite decent numbers and awards being won…Moonlight and Wolf Lake. I just don’t put Beauty and the Beast in that category at all. I remeber the show…I was a kid but I used to watch it…it was very heavy on the romance and not so heavy on the scary stuff. And Twilight is not really comparable…it had a cult like following before it even shot its first scene.
Like most other Alex fans I suppose I would never close the door on Moonlight and keeping this site alive and talking about it here is a big step to helping TPTB realize we still love our show. But I am excited to have something else to focus on now and if Alex does get some recognition for The Backup Plan and DOES become the new IT guy in Hollywood he may have many other juicy roles to do.
It’s not that we have given up on “Moonlight”, it is just time to move on. All the letter writing, e-mailing, etc. was not enough to convince anyone to bring back “Moonlight” in any new format up to this point so why should we think that something will happen now? As far as condemming anyone – it seems that unless people agree with you, then they are the ones who are being shot down. Think people – – if we continue to hang on to something that is gone – “Moonlight” and continue to write letters that go unanswered, e-mails that get deleted, etc in support of the past, then all we are doing is hurting Alex because we refused to move on. The only thing that will get any attention is ratings. The ratings for “Moonlight” were not there, no matter how we tried to convince people that they were. We all dearly love “Moonlight” but if we have learned nothing here, unless TPTB want something to materialize, it’s not going to happen, i.e. a “Moonlight” movie, especially now with the sequal to “Twilight” due to come out. We admire your conviction but please do not put those of us down who choose to move on and support Alex in something else.
Now this is a bummer…just got some news from another Alex site, who received it from someone on yet another Alex site, that none of us may want to hear…
President Obama is to give a speech next Wednesday, April 29th, at 8PM…Now I am not certain if this means it will pre-empt “The Big Wheel” episode of Criminal Minds with Alex or not…Nothing against the Pres, but coulsn’t he put it on at 6PM in the evening instead of some news broadcast that will repeat itself later in the night anyway???
Yep, this is truely a bummer…
I am sitting here in total disbelief that any one of you would give up a chance to vie for a Moonlight movie, not as a comeback on TV…
We are getting a taste of Alex extrodinaire, which. as an actor, he will always be… I do support him, but do not comdemn my opinion nor the desire of others who have versed the hope of a Moonlight movie…
As far as my contract savvy, you really know nothing about me, so don’t opinionate that I have not dealt in like in the business world…
We are friends here, at least I thought… I know I made some lasting friendships here of persons who were in the campaign, we still privately email & snailmail, also call each other via phone, as were we all…At least I hope we all were and not just looky-lou personna who only voiced themselves on sites but not to TPTB…
Perhaps Alex has movied on for now, but I feel strongly that if the door opened for Moonlight as a movie, I think he would not turn down the role he created so vividly beautiful… So I ask that you all not be so certain of his intentions. For now, with this economy, and to survive Tinseltown, until Alex can be in the running with the likes of such actors as, for example, Russell Crowe, Richard Gere, Brad Pitt, Sean Penn, George Clooney, he cannot just sit like whip cream on top of a sundae; he has to grasp at every available role he can to make a show of himself in all of his talents… One day, and pray that day will come without him affiliated with CBS, Alex will be nor only the whip cream, but also the sherry on a sundae and call the shots for whatever film he cares to be in… Right now, in the eyes of Tinseltown, he is a newcomer, so he is at the lower rungs of the proverbial ladder climbing… And Alex is not going to make a name for himself with TPTB in the world of the big screen in the company of B rated romantic comedies with such “bodies” as J-Lo… he is far more talented than for this kind of faire… I love romantic comedies, always have, but I feel this “BAck-Up Plan” will be either a box office short stay or go directly to DVD…even Gere could not help J-lo, but the chemistry he still has is unquestionable such as he portrayed in “Nights In Rodanthe” with Diane Lane as his co-star…can we deny his chemistry with Julia Roberts? It takes two and timing to make a romantic comedy sizzle, the only hot flashes that will be coming in Back-Up Plan will be from watching Alex…Alex has it all & I really would not like him devoured by Tinseltown due to projects that can destroy him…
And as for hopes and continued campaigning for a Moonlight movie, sorry this lady is not giving up… I would suggest all who agree to continue in the quest to seek that outcome… we are not led, this is a forum, this is a place to voice opinions… we still have our own minds…
PS: “Beauty and the Beast” may have been a Classic, but not the way it was portrayed on TV… it was a far cry from the beloved fairytale, it was paranormal…
Tish, why all the capital letters? Did we all say something that offended you because apparently our opinions are not in agreement with yours? Please do not insult us by acting as if you are the only person who is angry about the loss of “Moonlight” and that you and you alone have the business savy to understand contracts. The point that you are forgetting is the fact that it is Alex who agreed to a contract with CBS, not you or anyone of us. I am sure that Alex and his management team went over everything with a fine-tooth comb, otherwise, Alex would not have agreed to put his career on the line for something that would not be in his best interest. Alex could have thrown in the towel and given up because of the cancellation of “Moonlight” but he didn’t because HE HAS MOVED ON. It’s time for you as well as the rest of us to do the same. Don’t try to second guess what is behind the scenes because we will never know, regardless of what your “person in the know” is saying. The only ones that really are in the know are Alex, his management team, and CBS. Let it go, move on and support Alex in whatever he will be doing regardless if it is for CBS or not. 🙁
Hi Tiffany, I honor your opinion and, afterall, this is where you reign… However, I go way back in time with CBS considering my age… We were fortunate enough to have a TV way back in 1950 when CBS was THE CHANNEL to watch…
Well it is no longer 1950, and I have let go of my conservatism or else we do not fit into the society of now… And, again CBS is trying to be top banana, and to do this they HAD TO get a Ace Card, which is Alex… However, I do fear that in the backs of their minds the execs, namely Nina, will find a way of justifying the high ratings again as actor-centric due to Alex…not that he is a great actor, which is why I am so upset by this and how it will get received… Yes, this Criminal Minds appearance will indeed make Three Rivers a shoo-in, but it is not justifying the fact that Moonlight had 10 million (not 8 million) viewers due to a great storyline…
Yes, there was, indeed, the Parental TV Council or something like that, but they are always messing with shows…Let’s face it, I find more violence being exposed to our youth with shows like Criminal Minds, all the CSIs & Numbers than any episode of Moonlight… To me that would indicate cancellation, but CBS must be paying off through the nose to keep them on… I, for one, can’t stand any CSI show, any longer, and one I did favor, which was closer to my roots, was the CSI:NY… Enough of the real violence, time again for fantasy, as was Moonlight…
No, Tiffany, I still firmly believe that there is still life left for Moonlight but not on TV…in the movies…this is what I want and have read many want some completion to their vampire/mortal love story and this would be ideal… And, as Twilight is basically directed toward our youth, a Moonlight movie would satiate the cravings of a more adult audience…
Speaking of Twilight, though it was not on TV, there still was a blood drinking scene in the ballet studio when Edward sucked out the venom from James’s bite on Bella’s arm… And though it was done in fuzzy photography, one knew it was Alice who clumbed up and ripped off James’s head and the whole Cullen Clan through James’s dismembered remains into the fire… This was not banned by any parent council and was/is being viewed by teens all over the world, 37 million in the 1st weekend…
So what was blamed, what condemnation we were smoozed with about Moonlight, I definitely feel was all lies…It merely was, I feel strongly, that Nina decided SHE was going to rule and she was going to CUT CORNERS FINANCIALLY by alleviating a new show, even though it wond awards… Geeze, this tells me something and what she did was try to eradicate all traces of this favored show… What garbage we got was something I read about called Swingtown, now if that is conservative, I will eat this computer… It is almost a sure thing that the special effects and the stunts in Moonlight must have cost far more than other shows on at that time… And when a reality show is brought on, well that is definite evidence a network is cutting back financially…
I use to love “The PRice Is Right”, now I could care less about seeing it…It has outlived its time and, though Bob Barker filled in for an ailing Drew Cary, Drew is just not the draw Barker was… All of these realitiy shows, whether on CBS or any other channel are just as phoney as can be… this is not teaching our kids much either…
Tish,
Beauty and the Beast was kind of paranormal but it was also a classic. Ghost Whisperer is paranormal but it is also one of those readily accepted paranornal shows…aka ghosts. Some may disagree with me but when I look at a network like CBS I see conservative people politically and in life. I see middle class, religious folk who like their crime dramas, patriotic shows, and maybe even a ghost show that supports their beliefs in heaven and hell. I do not see THAT CBS viewer liking a vampire show….especially a sexy vampire show. The drinking blood/bodily fluids thing turns many conservative people off. Didn’t Moonlight get some religious parents group protesting the content? I think I remember something about that.
I think CBS wants to delve into new content but they are just not getting the numbers they need. They wanted a Buffy and didn’t get it. The Buffy people are not watching CBS…they are watching The WB, the Sci-Fi Channel and cable shows. They are not having success pandering to two very different markets.
Now they are back to pandering to the conservative viewer who doesn’t want to venture into anything too wild or that goes against their beliefs.
What Nina said about us being actor centric was IMO her way of justifying giving a good show with decent numbers the ax. She could shrug it off by saying “Hey they didn’t like the show, they liked Alex.” It was insulting to us yes but I don’t think she meant it that way…she was making excuses and grasping at straws to explain away a bad decision. If Three Rivers takes off like a rocket she will no doubt attribute the success to a great script or a greast “cast”.
Myself… I am ready to let go of Moonlight. I loved it but it didn’t last. I don’t think 8 million viewers is enough for a movie studio to take notice of either. Moonlight is no Sex in the City. We can hope but I am doubtful it will ever happen. I will just concentrate on doing what I can to support his new projects.
YOU ALL WRITE HERE AND ARE IGNORING THIS ONE FACT… I CAN ONLY PUT IT ONE WAY ANS THAT IS HOW IT WAS TOLD TO ME FROM SOMEONE IN THE KNOW WHERE ALEX IS CONCERNED…
FIRST AND FOREMOST ALEX IS SIGNED TO HIS AGENTS & HE MUST WORK…HE, LIKE US ALL, HAS BILLS TO PAY HERE AND ALSO CARING FOR CERTAIN FAMILY MEMBERS IN AU… YES, ALEX SIGNED A YEAR CONTRACT & CBS KNEW VERY WELL THAT THEY COULD LOSE HIM ALTOGETHER IF THEY DID NOT PRESENT HIM WITH SOME WELL PRESENTED INCENTIVE SINCE CBS IS/WAS STILL UNDER THE IMPRESSION THAT WE ARE ALL ACTOR-CENTRIC…SUCCESS I DO WISH ALEX, BUT I SO WISH IT WAS NOT BEING ON A CBS TV SHOW…WHY? BECAUSE WHEN IT SOARS THE RATINGS, WE , AGAIN, WILL BE CONCIDERED ACTOR-CENTRIC, WHICH IS A NICE WAY OF SAYING WE ARE CRAZED OR CULTISTS…
AND, saying CBS is conservative about paranormal shows…WRONG… Have we all forgot the success of “Beauty and the Beast”, a CBS show that was on for several seasons… Folks, that was a paranormal show!!!! And the only reason it came to an end was due to Linda Hamilton having some health problem that she needed to be under medical care for a good length of time…
As much as we hate to let “Moonlight” go, it is time to do just that. No matter how we try to get it back, the numbers were not high enough so let’s put it to rest because Alex has moved on now we have to do the same. I agree with Tiffany – it wasn’t Alex that failed and by TPTB at CBS giving him these opportunities, they recognize that. IMO, this is their way to apologize to Alex and his fan base so let’s be as gracious as I am sure Alex has been through all of this. Our negative comments will only hurt Alex in the long run. If we are true fans of Alex, then we will support him in whatever he does so if this means coming back to CBS, then sobeit. This is about Alex and what is best for him, not what we want. “Moonlight” is in the past – time to move on. Alex will be just as captivating to us no matter what character he portrays – we just have to make sure we’re there to let him and TPTB at CBS know that.
I agree also. More and more I am thinking that Moonlight’s demise was more about CBS being a conservative network that doesn’t dig paranormal programming unless they can get the cult like following of Buffy or Angel. CBS is not the WB and they attempted a vampire show but ultimately were not happy with the numbers. And if you compare Criminal Minds with Moonlight than there were significantly lower numbers. Moonlight also had the very bad luck of being a startup show when the writer’s strike happened…which REALLY hurt the numbers and the following.
I do not think it has anything to do with a grudge against Alex which is evident in the fact that he stayed. They figured they struck out with Moonlight but they hit pay dirt with Alex, hence the contract. So IMO they WANT to capitalize on that with a conservative show that their faithful audience will like.
They were wrong about Moonlight for what it is worth. If they had waited until the Twilight craze swept the nation they may have had the cult following they wanted but I guess we will never know.
But I DO think CBS is trying now to find a show that their regular and more conservtaive viewers will like AND take advantage of Alex’s fan base at the same time.
Just another thought here, I agree with Sophie 100%. Alex is moving on and we, as his fans, need to move on as well. We need to turn our disgust for NT into a positive for Alex. As Sophie said, he chose to stay with CBS and in doing so, he has to deal with NT, regardless of how we may feel about it. We do not know what has taken place but Alex does and apparently he is happy with the results and we should be too. High ratings success will be all the “I told you so” needed. Alex is coming back in a big way and we all need to be there to support him.
OK, regardless of how and why Alex is back on TV should not be the issue here. Maybe someone higher that Nina is making this happen because they realize how badly she screwed up when she had “Moonlight” cancelled and they know that by having Alex back that will boost ratings and high ratings will determine success. That is the point to be made, high ratings = success and success = $$$$$$$$ for the network. As long as that happens, Nina can call it whatever she wants, “actor-centric” fans or any other adjective she can come up with. No one will be able to argue with high ratings success, not even Nina. We also need to remember here, that TPTB at CBS could have just let Alex’s contract expire without giving him the opportunity to do anything. This is a thought that has been in the back of all of our minds, hasn’t it? Instead, we are now anxiously waiting for next week and keeping fingers crossed for the pick up of “Three Rivers”. We need to foucs on that and not the hows and whys for this all happening and just be so very glad that things are happening for Alex again.
Alex freely chose to go back to CBS after Moonlight was cancelled Tish. He could have signed on with someone else, he could have become a free agent of sorts, he could have stayed in Australia and continued to see his star rise there… but he didn’t.
Between you and me… I think Alex knows a bit more about what goes on at CBS then anyone of us here, and however frequent you choose to flame your dislike for this Nina, because she cancelled your favorite show, you’re almost putting Alex’s own judgement in question…. when support is the only thing he wants from us.
PS: Shortly after Moonlight’s cancellation, some big wigs at another network met the AXE… next thing we were reading is that CBS signed Alex… Now do you finally get the picture…
I am not relaying this to defame Alex’s great talent in any way… I am making a point that he is one whose great talent could do better elsewhere than in affiliation with CBS…
Hi Linda,
& All,
Please understand something that you are all overlooking in the happiness felt about Alex being back on TV again…
Nina is well aware of the promotions being done for this upcomong Criminal Minds episode; she probably ordered such advertising to perk up interest in CBS again… She knows Alex is a gold-mind, but I still feel firmly she does not give a “Tinker’s Damn” about Alex or his fans, all she wants is to get CBS noticed on ratings again… Like i have said and will continue to say, “She is using Alex to protect her job and for CBS’s gain; nothing more. She is totally unaware of how multi-talented Alex is… She is still working on the premise that Moonlight fans are actor-centric and this was caused by Alex’s presence on ML, so she will grasp at his popularity to get high ratings…This has not a damn thing to do with Alex’s magnificent acting abilities, this has to do with CBS coming to the top again… AND, LADIES & GENTS, THIS IS THE ONLY REASON, IN MY OPINION, THAT SOMEONE AS IMBECCILIC AS QUEEN B WOULD EVEN APPROACH HIS AGENTS WITH A CONTRACT…” She would have no clue about Alex’s draw and abilities if someone in CBS did not point it out to her and so she knew her own job could be perilously hanging by threads if she did not act upon this and make him a center of attraction to bring in CBS stray sheep back to the CBS herd…
Hi Tish – I think with the way they are promoting Alex’s role on “Criminal Minds”, I think Nina gets the message loud and clear about Alex’s fan base. I agree with you – who gives a damn about what she thinks and apparently TPTB at CBS are seeing the light too, otherwise, they would not have made such a big deal about Alex’s return to CBS. When we all tune in next week to watch “Criminal Minds”, because of Alex – this will give them even more reason to pick up “Three Rivers” for the fall. By us tuning in to watch Alex in another project, this means that we are willing to accept him in any role that he plays because of his talent, not because we are “actor-centric”, fans and knowing how “ratings” driven this network is. when the ratings go through the roof for “Criminal Minds”, that will make everyone happy. Remember to mark your calendars, set your VCR’s and DVD’s and anything else that you have because we don’t want to miss a minute of “Criminal Minds” next week. Until next time, stay well. 🙂
I always try to watch Criminal Minds, but made certain that I did so last night. I have all my friends on alert for next week. I agree that the show will have it’s highest rating ever after next week’s episode. I hope that CBS will definitely learn from their BIG mistake.
I can’t wait for this eppy of CM to air with Alex. He definitely will add a twist to it. Also I’ve been watching CM since it started airing and this is the first time I’ve ever seen them promote the guest star like this. Normally the storyline follows that of the BAU’s perspective. This time its coming from the unsub. CBS is really promoting him and I think they want to ‘clean up’ all the ‘bad blood’ that was created with the fans of Moonlight. At least they got the part about Alex right and didn’t write him off after the cancellation. This is going to be one creepy character with that ‘click click tic’ but will show that Alex really has some acting chops and is not just another pretty face… I still miss Moonlight but am glad for Alex that his career is finally going to take off…
PS: I firmly believe, too, that CBS shows have become old and stales, so having Alex guest on one of them is a sure fire ratings hike..don’t kid yourself, nina knows this…
As I said, CBS is in a quick sand of old tired shows, so having Alex aboard is their salvation; they are not looking to boost his career, just their ratings… And the guest shot on Criminal Minds is what will get this boost going so Three Rivers, more than likely, will be a shoo-in for the Fall… Oh, this makes me happy as it will bring Alex back into our living rooms weekly for a visit… However, the magic of medical shows can be short-lived since it makes us all face our own mortality…When I sit down to watch a movie or TV, I certainly do not want to be reminded how brief a visit this is on earth… I want romance, I want comedy, I want fantasy AND, That Was Moonlight!!!!
Schucks, I missed it because I do not watch CBS and only will if there is an Alex show on… Now, do not liken this to I am being actor-centric, folks, especially Nina, if you have your sources reading posts on this site… Know I find Alex to be multi-talented and his acting abilities actually breate life into his characters; thus Mick St John in Moonlight came to life & eternally lives within the hearts of all Moonlight fans…No stake in the heart will paralyze us, and, Nina, we like the warmth of Alex’s fire, so we Moonlight fans are not going away… And fans will keep striving to get a form of Moonlight resurrected again, too bad this won’t be to your liking, Nina… “Frankly, Nina, I, myself, just don’t give a damn what you like!”
I will turn my TV to Criminal Minds on the 29th, but only to support Alex, not for CBS ratings, which again when they skyricket will be misconstrued into making all Alex fans look like they are actor-centric unfortunately… The main problem here is that Nina is so blind, more like stupid, to the fact that fans like storylines to do with serial killers, vamipres… Secondly, with the fine acting by all of Moonlight’s cast members & it’s unique, in its own right, story of vamperism folklore combined with the love of 2 odd prospects, we all began a growing relationship with the actors…Now, that main actor because of his fine acting abilities, has a following, which is what contributes to Stardom, so again we will be be defamed by the Queen B… What a vicious pattern is being weaved here…
I can only hope that TPTB over Nina will toss her to the curb on her butt eventually and that Alex’s agents will get him the hell away from the oddities of CBS so he can really get his star rising as it can without that network’s interference…
I recorded Criminal Minds to be sure to get that promo, and I am even more excited about next week’s “The Big Wheel” than I was before – if that is even possible! Alex O’Loughlin is brilliant – though I will always miss Moonlight, I am so glad that he is back, and I will watch and love all that he does. I have all of his work on DVD – TV and movies – and the man can do no wrong on film! I just know that Three Rivers will be picked up for this fall, and now Alex will start filming “The Back-Up Plan” next month. WhiteOut is FINALLY going to open 9/25/09 – this is going to be a great year for Alex and for us. Rock on, Alex O.
Thank you so much for update about Alex in “Criminal Mindsâ€
Hi Everyone – I too watched “Criminal Minds” just to see the preview of next week’s episode with Alex. I loved the preface “Alex O’Loughlin’s return to CBS” How many times do you think Nina Tassler choked on that one!!!!
Just how high do you think the rating for “Criminal Minds” will be after next week???? Can we say, highest ratings ever!!!!! This really should give TPTB at CBS even more incentive to add “Three Rivers” to their fall line-up. Gotta love it! Mark your calendars for the 29th, 9:00 p.m. eastern. We can’t let Alex down and we won’t! Until next time friends, stay well. 🙂
