to say for sure… last nite’s ep that of … yes seat belts are very much needed and then some!

of um, to Taryn’s mary anne… is concerned… to say that for sure of how the promo was alooking… and too that of things on the internet including that of tvguide.com one… i um, posted… that of well …to say the way it went last night… that for sure like the window is still open and then some… and that of well to say we’ve been given a chance of a possible stronger than what we thought we had of as to let both yes… CBS know of who we feel and too… by any chance does anyone of well email or website of as to reach the producers of “Hawaii Five-0 so to let them know…?

ok so that yup this ep of filmed that of few wks back and yet too.. even so … we for right now do not know of as to Taryn/Mary Anne of outcome yet right? and well… lets get going and let CBS and the Producer’s , to whoever know of how we feel and too… yup i am going to say it again… and that is keep the vinegar for the salad & too for cleaning the windows and too drain clearing too (w/ baking soda no joke!)… and of just a hint of when we let them know of how we feel of this… that of just a hint of honey for sure couldn’t hurt right… and too, just a hint of honey as to too much honey and well… don’t want to have them all honeyed up right? talk about honeysticky picture that be… :whistle: :angel:

and too of as to how much timewise of letting CBS and Producers know of how we feel… that well as to how long we may have.. is not known and so well.. like right now letting them know…. and too,, not wait another moment either as to well …. and too that of well, either way that when it comes down to it… they’ll know, & we’ll know that we did our best… right?

Glad you enjoyed Wal mart sandiwches or not. I have to wait for it to come on the internet. And once again the steaming programme I usually download it from Linkyworld the accounts been suspended once again. I keep trying megavideo perhaps I am impatient but it isn’t there yet. Oh woo is me, that’s what you get for living outside the states. It sometimes makes me feel like Australia is in the outer Hebrides, or even outer space LOL

I’m really down about tonight’s episode. I don’t think the character of Mary Ann McGarrett was given enough time for development. I’ve heard rumors that she will be leaving the show after tonight. If they kill the character off that may take me away from the show. Too much is being given to the co-stars in way of back stories while Alex O’Loughlin is to only be made to look professional & not have a life. I may wait until tomorrow to see what is posted on the show – I just don’t want to see Taryn Manning’s character cut out like this.

Hey Jeanne: I totally agree with you….PLEASE CB S don’t turn HAwaii Five into one of those endless CSI shows where I’m sick of bloody bodies, litlle story lines.. Moonlight was a terrific show cause it had characters in in that we we interested in…Beth, Josef, Gerrmo, the guy with the guitar, THEY WERE INTERESTING AND GOOD STORE LINES!!! I miss all them to much and hope they are doing well…Coralieen too! Type CBS Comments on their site and tell them…MOST of who watch are women and don’t like the bloody stuff!! :bandit: :sick:

HEY JEANNIE!!! I totally agree with you….don’t those producers, executives, whatever, realize that probably the show is watched by (it seems) mainly WOMEN~~~!!!!! I have seen enough bloodied battered bodies on CSI shows to last me a lifetime. Moonlight was such a hit (which I’m sure CBS is still aware of) because of the CHARACTERS AND THEIR STORIES!! iI hope that Joseh, Beth, Geermo, SHossahan, (spelllling not good!) are all doing well, I miss all them. Please CB S….don’t turn Hawaii Five 0 a “shoot ’em up” and not a show where care what happens to the CHARACTERS not the bad guys!! Shheeesh!!!

Keck’s Exclusives: Taryn Manning Leaving Hawaii Five-0?

I have good news and bad news for fans of Taryn Manning, who have been patiently waiting for her Hawaii Five-0 character (Steve McGarrett’s spunky kid sis, MaryAnn) to break out with a stronger screen presence. The Jan. 3 episode finally allows the actress to take center stage when MaryAnn gets kidnapped. It’s all part of a plot connected to the villainous Wo Fat and the murder of Steve and MaryAnn’s mother. But — without giving away the tearjerker ending — something happens during the course of the episode that could potentially make this Taryn’s swan song on the CBS crime drama.

The drama begins when Steve (Alex O’Loughlin) rushes to his sister’s new apartment and discovers “there was a struggle,” explains Taryn, who has been waiting months for an opportunity to demonstrate the acting skills that brought her attention in such films as 8 Mile and Hustle & Flow. “Steve discovers a tooth on the ground, basically establishing that MaryAnn was a badass and fought her whole way through. There’s a lot of emotion.”

So is Steve about to lose the last surviving member of his immediate family? My lips are sealed! But I hear one person who is sorry to be saying goodbye to Taryn is Alex. During my last visit to the Hawaiian set, Alex told me, “I haven’t worked with Taryn as much as I would like. She brings out a certain paternal caring that Steve wouldn’t normally have. With both their parents gone, he feels an obligation to keep an eye on her; especially since she’s troubled and kind of out of control.”

Indeed, Taryn confides that “Alex wasn’t very happy” with the producers’ decision to alter their plans for Mary Ann. “He liked me and liked our relationship. He felt my character was necessary to explore further aspects of his role and was prepared to fight for me.”

Taryn also expresses her thanks to Daniel Dae Kim (Chin Ho), who she says, “sat down with me and had a little heart to heart to make sure I felt okay about everything. He’s very thoughtful.”

MaryAnn proved a challenge for producers from the beginning. She was originally slated to appear in the first four episodes and recur throughout the season. “The family mystery was supposed to slowly unfold over the first season and I was going to play a big part in that with my own Nancy Drew mission,” says Taryn, who had been under the impression that her character would even return for future seasons. “It was told to me that the first season would be based around the team more, and I should just hang tight.”

However, producers chose to shift greater focus to McGarrett’s professional associations and less on his personal life. There was also concern that too much was being revealed too soon about the murdered mother. Also taken in the upcoming episode is Steve’s father’s lock box, which contains clues to the mother’s disappearance. “I think they were going to show more of this throughout the season, but now it’s all wrapped up in this episode,” says Taryn.

Before the episode’s end, Mary Ann will encourage her brother to keep delving further in to the case, and the team will be further aided by evidence discovered on MaryAnn’s cell phone. The final image, teases Taryn, is of Steve experiencing “sadness over another loss.”

The busy 32-year-old hasn’t allowed professional disappointments to get her down. A Buddhist who sits cross-legged and chants every morning and night, Taryn had been toting a travel-size altar back and forth from Los Angeles to Hawaii, which she credits for “quieting her mind from all the chitter chatter.”

In addition to focusing on her music (one of her songs, “Spotlight,” was played in an early episode of Hawaii Five-0 and is available on iTunes), she will guest star in a January episode of Law & Order: SVU. She may also return to her recurring role on Sons of Anarchy, and is mulling an offer to play Janis Joplin in an independent film. As for Five-0, she has no regrets: “I chanted to get this show and the benefits have been priceless.”

Hi ladies! I know we all will be looking forward to a new H5-0 episode this Monday night and the Peoples Choice Awards are on Jan. 5th, this Wednesday night. Hoping for some awards for Hawaii Five-O. I also wanted to mention I received a fabulous “Moonlight” calendar from my son for Christmas that has wonderful real photos (4×6″) of Alex and the cast from that show. It was my favorite gift this year. A big thanks Tiffany for all your work all year—you know how much we Alex fans are thrilled when we see your name show up in our e-mail box! I read in a few different articles that this Monday night’s episode is the last episode for Taryn Manning. The articles also said that the episode is a real tearjerker. I hope they don’t kill off Steve’s only surviving family member. At least let the departure be her moving back to California. How much can the poor guy take? Tamryn was slated for more episodes but they decided they want to give more focus to the main characters. I will definately have my box of tissues nearby for this episode.

I love all the scenes with Alex in them. The best one are when he shows his tattoos. WOW! how sexy. To see him in a suit or in uniform would be number 2. Steve and Dano going at it with each other is number 3. Alex’s smile, it just makes you melt is number 4 and him doing a love scene is number 5. Love ya Alex, you roc.

That is great news Suzanne, I just voted 5 times. I usually do that about twice a day, but Christmas got slightly in the way and only voted 5 times once the last two days, going a category up or down then back again then vote again. I was wondering how it was going due to the fact it does not tell you. I imagine you have found in another part how the votes are going. I too will look forward perhaps on the internet seeing the 50 crew picking up the award, it probably will not be on my TV, because 50 certainly isn’t.

to say that in short.. um, of as we’re about to get snow later tomorrow into monday.. that of a possible no’r easter…to which for sure am of hope that it will go out to sea and that of anyone who might get something out of it will be the ski areas up north….

and um.. to say w/ this being christmas.. and that of its already boxing day over there and in 6 hrs here.. and um.. well, when it comes to boxing day.. i’m think of both my grand dad & my auntie flo… of who was always there for everyone, and of any animal in need… no matter what.

sound-wise…. well when u think about it… most of every ep is that of outdoors give or take that is.. and too nature will do what it wants… sound-wise included…

um, yet wasn’t there something recently in the news about it as to when a program plays on 1 station and soundwise goes… it can be either normal to that of… ‘ what did u say?’…and well.. if i’m not mistaken that well.. something about them looking into it?

Music on the show is WAY too loud especially when you are trying to hear what the heck the actors are saying!! go to internet site CBS Comments…they have a place you can write them anything you want about any of their programs. I absolutely love H50, but I, too, find the background music annoying and too loud. Tone it down a bit, CBS. We want to Hear what’s being said, not the cacaphony of too loud music. Alex is always dreamy, and I would like to see more romance in future episodes…He always tugs at the heartstrings when he’s a bit broken-hearted.

I love Alex and his show but does anyone agree with me that their is too much back ground noise which makes it hard to hear what is being said.. Please let me know. Hope

Oh my gosh, Tiffany! So many to choose from! Let’s see. I know this isn’t a “scene” per say but I LOVE the bit that CBS put together “Don’t call it a bromance.” Alex in the scene at the USS Missouri–“Good luck Aquaman.” Alex hanging the bad guy over the roof–shades of Mick St. John after someone tried to kill Josef. Steve trying to do carpentry–that muscle shirt was FANTASTIC! Steve between the sheets–always a winner! And Alex in a suit at the casino–looking like James Bond. And one other–that smirk he had when Dano went off the deep end and was driving the guy around on the hood of the car–saying next time he gets a free pass!! Alex is cute, funny, hunky and just plain FABULOUS!! :love:

now of as to well photo-wise… um… the one you tiffany posted of scott & alex are sitting back behind a table like w/ both w/ grins on their faces…and um.. scott’s dog is laying a top the table like & looking right at the photographer as of like well… u know.

Uhhhhhh, you guys have covered so much, I hate to be redundant. The easy way out of course is the truth…EVERYTHING about Alex blows me away. But specifically the smile, the eyes, the lack of a shirt, the walk, the incredible banter with Danno……I could go on an on but you all know exactly what I mean. BTW – Alex was once asked in an interview what he least liked about his appearance and he said his nose because it was “witchy” and “beaky”. Take a look at that profile of his in the top picture – is that the most perfect nose you have ever seen?! I love the way Alex likes to change things about himself but he better not ever mess with that beautiful nose. Of course Alex would be gorgeous even without a nose – but he is perfect just the way he is.

Those are all great! I love every Steve moment, of course – but some of my favorites are the funny things that he and Danny say to each other – and I love “Steve’s methods” that make Danny call him an animal – like hanging that guy off the roof, the guy in the shark cage. Then Steve’s reaction when Danny finally flipped out and put Bronson Pinchot on the roof of the car and drove him around was so great. Personally, I would take that ride on the roof and love it if Alex was in the car, but that’s just me…

I had a serious crush on Alex when the show first started but i am now so exhausted by school,my externship and work-I no longer have the energy to muster up a crush. LOL

You nailed it, Tiffany! Couldn’t agree more. Shirtless, the half-smile, the incredible banter with Danny, Mr. Tall, Dark and Uptight is always my favorite. Love the show and the entire cast.
